Is there anything better than poached eggs?

Yes.

Poached eggs with steamed/buttered spinach and avocado on toast. Add salt and pepper and bring on the yummy.

Yum yum yum, looks delicious. I’m thinking mustard greens with the egg and toast would be good too. I think poached eggs are the best.

Yum-E! I craved spinach + eggs with my last pregnancy, so I combined them in every which way, but NOT poached. I’ll have to try this soon. I ordered those poach pods, now I need to use them!

No…we haven’t been fully vegan for a long time (3 years?). Eggs are a really great way for us to get good/cheap protein, especially for the girls. And I just like them. ๐Ÿ™‚ We don’t do cow’s milk…just eggs and goat cheese.

Funny, I just went through and watched your Q and A’s and heard you say you ate eggs. Sorry I didn’t do my research first! Awesome green smoothie video! Also, how else do you get protein?
We do a lot of beans, but I feel kinda cruddy all the time ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

[…] We ended our year with a Hawaiian pizza from Costco and today (haha, aren’t you grateful we get a new day everyday?!) for lunch we had poached eggs, avocado and spinach. It was delish. I’ve been doing some browsing at some good food websites and stumbled across the suggestion at https://happyfoody.com/2011/03/30/poached-bling/. […]

Words to Eat By

"It is easier to change a man's religion than to change his diet." -Margaret Mead

"I don't understand why asking people to eat a well-balanced vegetarian diet is considered drastic, while it is medically conservative to cut people open and put them on cholesterol lowering drugs for the rest of their lives." - Dean Ornish, MD

โ€œFinish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.โ€ โ€“ Ralph Waldo Emerson
